There's a wild Netflix documentary called Maternal Instinct, new TV series Cape Fear with Javier Bardem doing terrifying things Kate finds inexplicably attractive, Point Break gets a classic movie shoutout, and Angry, Raucous, and Shamelessly Gorgeous at the Geffen is worth seeing right now. Plus, the Isabella Blow biopic is finally happening, David Hockney and Gene Shalit have passed, Solvang is the summer day trip you didn't know you needed, and Brighton does something magnificent with Fat Boy Slim and a tunnel full of fascists. The card this week is Isolation, and it's a good one.
