Laura is a Biomedical Scientist working in a Histology lab in the NHS. She is currently working on her Specialist Portfolio in Cellular Pathology and is also the co-chair of her Trusts LGBTQ+ Staff Network. She has participated in science communication and outreach since February 2020, and really enjoys showing how there is not one set way to be a scientist.
In this episode, Laura speaks about the barriers she has faced in her career so far and why she is passionate about increasing the diversity of people in STEM careers.
