Have you ever left a doctor's office feeling unheard and not helped? Have you been upset that you had to pay for visit that wasn't actually helpful? Or maybe you got a bill weeks after a procedure that wasn't disclosed to you at the time of service.
All of these are reason why our health care system feels like a bad blind date. This intro is the beginning of the conversation to shift how you access healthcare.
Lisa Bloom is a licensed health insurance agent, lactation consultant, former WIC nutritionist and software tester. She has been a health care provider, an advocate for health care access for breastfeeding families, and a patient of both the medical system and holistic modalities. She has been a member of a health share, has had marketplace plans, employer sponsored insurance and has risked not having any health insurance at times.
Lisa lights the way through the chaos of health insurance by guiding folks through the choices or by helping them use the benefits they are already paying for.
