Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in Galatians 6:9, and this episode is all about not growing weary in doing what is right. Scripture tells us not to lose heart, not to faint, and not to give up, because in due season we will reap a harvest if we keep going. That is such a powerful reminder for anyone who feels tired, overlooked, or worn down in the middle of doing the right thing.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how easy it is to get weary in relationships, at work, in marriage, in parenting, or just in life. You keep being kind. You keep giving grace. You keep showing up. You keep doing what is honorable and loving, but it can feel like nothing is changing. This message reminds us that just because the harvest has not shown up yet does not mean it is not coming. Like a farmer, you keep sowing, keep tending, and keep trusting the process.

This episode also highlights something so important. Do not let other people change who you are. Just because someone is harsh does not mean you become harsh. Just because someone is unfair does not mean you stop being excellent. Just because someone is difficult does not mean you stop being loving. If your character changes every time your environment changes, then your identity is still too connected to people instead of to God.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly also talk about the real battle being inside of us. So often the fight is not really with other people. The fight is with our own reactions, emotions, and impulses. David did this in the Psalms. He talked to himself. He corrected his own soul. He reminded himself of truth. Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is fight yourself and choose to keep doing right even when it is hard.

You can do hard things. Keep being kind. Keep being faithful. Keep doing what is right. In due season, the harvest will come.
