Lord Parsnip Peasblossom of Blackthorne and Sundley is a fae lordling seeking to bestow immortality on mortals by synthesizing the Philosopher's Stone. The only problem is he can't get the math right.
Henry Seay is a mortal looking to gain employment in London in late 1899 as a mathematician. He has no money and an ailing mother, and is desperate to make his fortune with his mind.
