About this listen

Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. A cold front has sliced Indiana clean in two today. Where you live determines what kind of day you're having. In the next 24 hours. Down in Evansville, you're starting at 40 degrees under clear skies. By this afternoon, you'll soar to 67 degrees with sunshine. Perfect weather for getting outside. Tonight stays mostly cloudy with a brief rain chance around midnight. Lows drop to 37 degrees. Indianapolis sits right on the dividing line. You're at 39 degrees now under mostly clear skies. You'll climb to 56 degrees this afternoon with mostly sunny conditions. Then the front catches up. Scattered rain showers move through between 7 P.M. and 1 A.M. Northeast winds gust to 20 miles an hour. Lows fall to 31 degrees, then rise back to 34 by morning. Fort Wayne tells a different story. You're at 46 degrees now, but that's your high for the day. The front has already passed you. Partly sunny skies this afternoon, then rain between 7 P.M. and 9 P.M. Transitions to snow through 3 A.M. Lows drop to 26 degrees. Northern Indiana gets the coldest deal. Highs today only reach 37 degrees with a slight chance of snow after 1 P.M. Tonight, snow continues before 1 A.M. Lows fall to 23 degrees. Looking ahead. Sunday stays cool with highs in the 30s to low 40s. Sunday night into Monday morning brings snow south of US-30. Light accumulations could make Monday's commute slick. Then the weather turns active and warm. Multiple rain systems move through Tuesday into Friday, with temperatures climbing into the 60s. Heavy rainfall is possible mid-week — we're talking 2 to 3 inches by Friday. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. Stay safe, stay prepared. and enjoy the day.
