About this listen

This week on Finding Your Pink in this deeply honest and moving conversation, I’m joined by Dr Clodagh Campbell — psychologist, author, and mum — to explore the layers of identity, motherhood, love, loss, and healing.

Adopted as a newborn, Clodagh grew up in a loving and secure home, yet carried a deep sense of anxiety and fear of abandonment from a very young age. As an adult — and now as a psychologist who has done extensive personal therapy — she reflects on how early separation from her birth mother shaped her nervous system, her relationships, and her sense of safety in the world.

Clodagh also opens up about motherhood, including suffering from hyperemesis during all three pregnancies — an experience that left her physically depleted and emotionally stretched. She speaks candidly about the exhaustion of early motherhood, the reality of going from one child to three, and how losing her pink happened when she was at the height of her career success.

🎧 A must-listen for anyone navigating motherhood, adoption, anxiety, or the quiet work of becoming whole.
