Our guest today, Professor Riz Virk, began his career as a software engineer, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist after graduating with a computer science degree from MIT. Yet, after work and on the weekends, he devoted his time to spiritual inquiry. He studied shamanic dreaming, energy healing, consciousness, various religions, and other forms of spirituality. During his career, he also developed video games. He began exploring quantum physics, which surmises that nothing is actually real. Then Riz considered the great spiritual texts which talk about maya or a world of illusion. He thought about the idea that our reality is really like a video game. Riz talks about different levels of reality and how it works in the world of video games. Who is controlling the reality? It's very similar to having a spiritual experience.
