About this listen
A collection of short oral stories meant to be read aloud to a group, for humorous reasons. The plot is a constant parody of literary and world events with elements of magic, grit, and adversity thrown in for good measure. It will make you laugh, it will make you think, but don't think too hard, as it is meant to be a farce and funny. Originally written 2010-2013 for use in regularly scheduled gatherings of friends, this is the collection of all those oratories in their flawed splendor.
Some paragraphs may contain only words that start with the same letter like "b", "w", or "d" — the alliteration is simply supplicating in it's sensational sarcasm, see how that works. That is why this book is best read aloud in English and in groups. Some puns or jokes may only be heard when spoken aloud rather than gleaned through reading. A fun game to play is ask the group what literary or historical events were referenced in the chapter you just listened to, and then discuss how the writer got it wrong. The words written were chosen for every syllable to control the speed of reading, and each articulation of consonant and vowel expresses the rhythm of the plot. Listening to this should sound like music from your mouth. Tung twisters are plentiful as are new words or "seisous-a-fic-ation" as i call it.
Don't worry it is short listen.
However, once you start to get into it, the end jumps out.
Enjoy!
