About this listen
The Vegas Golden Knights (25-14-13) secured a point in a 3-2 overtime defeat to the Montreal Canadiens (29-17-7) on Tuesday at Bell Centre.
Vegas pulled even at 2-2 late in the third period when Pavel Dorofeyev scored his second goal of the night, tipping in Ben Hutton’s point shot with three minutes remaining to force overtime. Vegas killed off a penalty to start the extra frame, but Jake Evans ended it with the game-winning goal for Montreal (3:58). Cole Caufield scored in the second period and continued his strong stretch, extending his goal streak to six games and reaching the 30-goal mark for the second straight season.
