About this listen
Today’s question is simple… and dangerous in the best way:
✨ What story do I tell about myself that keeps me small?
Bebé… we need to talk.
And I’m saying this with love—and a little tough tía energy.
That whole “I’m just not that type of person” narrative?
Yeah… that’s probably not your personality.
That’s your trauma costume, mami.
And you’ve been wearing it so long, you think it’s your skin.
You’re not “too shy.”
You were trained to be quiet.
You’re not “not a leader.”
You were taught it wasn’t safe to be powerful.
You’re not “low maintenance.”
You just got used to not being prioritized.
Let’s be real for a second.
Half the internet is out here selling self-love in cute Canva quotes while still living in “I’m not the type” trauma loops.
And you?
You’re over here convincing yourself you’re not made for more—when the truth is, you ARE the more.
You just don’t recognize yourself without the shrinkage.
So today, we rip up the script.
Ask yourself:
👉🏽 What story am I telling myself that’s keeping me small?
👉🏽 Who gave me that story?
👉🏽 And what would change if I stopped believing it?
You do not owe loyalty to the version of you that was built on survival.
It’s safe to outgrow the coping mechanisms that got you here.
It’s safe to be loud, seen, soft, powerful, and tender—all at the same time.
Because let’s be honest…
The “small” you?
That was never the real you anyway.
Drop the story that’s gotta GO.
We’re burning that sh*t together. 🔥
