.
Amber Banda interviews Ileene Mendoza, President of Rescue Runners. RR works with Animal Services of El Paso to help get doggies out of their kennels every Sunday using all 3 shelter locations. Walks/runs happen every Sunday from 9-11am in the winter months and from 8-10 am in the summer months. Stay the whole time or not, it's up to you. Walk as many as you'd like!
.
They also have their "Doggy Day Out" event the 3rd Saturday of each month. You can take a doggy home with you for a few hours, even overnight. You can register for this on their website at rescuerunners.org
