Every Tuesday night, two couples see the same therapist for marriage counselling. At 8pm, as Liv and Jay are leaving their session, they see Maya and Hugo waiting to go in.

From the very first chapter, I was completely drawn in. It’s one of those stories that quietly pulls you closer and closer until you realise you can’t stop listening.
What makes this book so compelling is its powerful exploration of perception versus reality. It brilliantly examines how easy it is to look at someone else’s life and believe they “have it all,” while beneath the surface there may be cracks no one sees. The emotional depth feels real and relatable, especially in how it portrays friendship, marriage, and the subtle dynamics that shape both.
