About this listen

If you were invited to meet with God and encouraged to ask any questions you chose, what would you ask?

One day Joseph was visited at work by a person who claimed to be God. The visitor invited Joseph to participate in a series of seven meetings—each with God. Joseph was asked to prepare a question for each of those meetings. Intrigued with the whole notion, but deeply suspicious of this person's intent and motives, Joseph decided to participate in the meetings, he was committed to challenge any and all of his visitor’s possible schemes. Joseph Imagines God tells the story of a man who had the opportunity to interview God. The book is the description of these seven meetings. The responses Joseph receives to his questions challenge his paradigms of life, humanity, God and the universe.

In 2023, this work of fiction received both the Nautilus Book Awards Silver Award for Philosophy and was First Runner-Up for the Eric Hoffer Award for Spiritual Fiction. This thoughtful book of modern philosophy uses an innovative dialogue to address the questions, What is God? and What is it to be human?
