Nell explains how getting the basics of looking after yourself is so important in reducing risk of injury with helpful assessment questionnaires to see where you are right now together with suggestions on what to do based on how you scored. My take from this is ‘get the fundamentals right and you are half way there’ - perhaps not technically accurate, but it helps keep me motivated.
Her approach is informative and understandable.. a few long words, but fully explained. Her use of real life case studies is absolutely amazing and demonstrates why her methods of physio have been so successful for her and her patients.
Audiobooks work for me as I can remind myself of how to better maintain my body whilst ‘on the go’.
Thoroughly recommend this to anyone who has a niggling feeling ‘something isn’t quite right’ with their body, and definitely to us older people who know we have to take extra care of ourselves.
