This audio book has a recent release date, but the text itself is from 2011. I didn’t check this before I started listening and found some of the expectations about advances and references to dates that were then in the future confusing. A lot has happened since then, not least a global pandemic that forced millions to work remotely for years, making predictions about remote work seem quaint. This isn’t to say that the book is not worth listening to. But you will find yourself saying “well, things didn’t work out quite like that” and should look at it from an adjusted angle.
