Not feeling so overwhelmed and clueless now! I have never understood investing, pensions, APR etc and as a result have kind of ignored it all… therefore not having money beyond a monthly income. I feel clued up now and have re-worked my budget.

Very basic overview of personal finances. Kind of patronising. No interesting ideas or frameworks, just covers the very basics with little nuance.

A good top to bottom run through of what you need to know about money (in the UK). It provides a foundational knowledge of saving, spending and being conscious about what you do with your money. At no point did they try and sell Monzo to you, even when they are talking about banking app features that they clearly have there was no push towarda their services. If you know the fundamentals you likely won't learn anything new but maybe just reassure you are doing the right things.
