I always liked this book, the narration of the guards series grew on me and I did really enjoy them all.
I'm so glad they did the new versions of the audio books.

Wonderful, gritty and still absolutely hilarious. Vimes back in action and honestly I love it. It’s a fitting last book for he commander. Vimes and Sybil are a true match made in heaven and she is so kick ass. Young Sam is awesome and honestly TP has done it again. I don’t think there’s been a book about Vimes where I haven’t cried at the beautiful writing and sensitive attention to detail of the character.
