THE THIRD NOVEL IN THE RECORD-BREAKING, MILLION-COPY BESTSELLING THURSDAY MURDER CLUB SERIES.

This audiobook in The Thursday Murder Club series is read by a new narrator, Fiona Shaw.

It is an ordinary Thursday and things should finally be returning to normal.

Except trouble is never far away where the Thursday Murder Club is concerned. A decade-old cold case leads them to a local news legend and a murder with no body and no answers.

Then a new foe pays Elizabeth a visit. Her mission? Kill...or be killed.

As the cold case turns white hot, Elizabeth wrestles with her conscience (and a gun), while Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim chase down clues with help from old friends and new. But can the gang solve the mystery and save Elizabeth before the murderer strikes again?

I love Fiona Shaw, but I think her tone and narration was unfortunately quite one note. it was difficult to distinguish the different characters as there was little nuance, which is crucial for a good audiobook. She intermittently gave Chris a West country accent which was a bit off putting. The loss of the twinkle that Leslie Mann gave Joyce's voice is a real shame as she seemed to capture the tone perfectly. Still a great story and well paced, beautiful insight into the strengths of our forgotten older generations

Great sequel, average narration. Bring back Leslie

Slow start but another fabulous book by Richard Osman. Wish I knew the Fab Four. Can’t wait for book four!,,

Loving Joyce, Elizabeth Ibraham and Ron’s latest adventure

If you have listened the first two outings of the TMC, than the change in narration can be a tad jarring at first, but Fiona Shaw does wonderfully. In fact, after a few chapters I didn't really notice as the story gripped me.

Expect the usual twists and turns and humour. Another great outing for the gang.

Great Story

Firstly, the book was great. Brilliant overall plot and the ever growing personal relationships are brilliant. Ibrahim and Ron's nephew, Elizabeth and Joyce; best friends! Stephen and Bogdan, Donna and Chris. I could go on for days here!

But let's discuss the elephant in the room. Narration.
I was a little put out when I realised Lesley wasn't narrating, but I soon got over it. Fiona Shaw did a great job to be honest. After a couple of chapters I forgot.
If I could change one thing, it would be Chris' accent, but I think the one star reviews are petty and pathetic. Exactly the people you wouldn't want to be stuck in a broken lift with.

Download it and enjoy!

No it's not Leslie but I think Fiona has done a great job. Most importantly Richard Osmans writing and humor still come through like they did in the first 2 books and I can't wait to hear the next one.

Is it Lesley no, but Fiona has done an amazing job
