About this listen

Many parents worry about their child's sleep, and parents of new babies are often exhausted - but there is hope. This realistic, reassuring, and refreshing guide to sleep looks at sleep for both parents and children, and aims to empower and encourage parents to feel calm, confident, and compassionate in their parenting. It strikes a balance between prioritizing infant and child mental health and attachment, and being compassionate about the reality of raising a family in today's society, with social support and understanding often in short supply. With practical and easily implementable ideas and clear explanation of the many myths surrounding infant and baby sleep, this gentle and holistic guide is sure to allay many parents' fears and help everyone in the family get the rest they need.

Brilliant book with so many evidence based strategies to help the whole family get more sleep. I've bookmarked various sections and i know we will be dipping back into other sections as our little one grows. Thank you so much for this book

Super helpful and informative. This book has helped me to remember that my baby is totally normal and helped my confidence in responding to her. I will definitely be reccomending!

A must read for new parents.

I was recommended this book by someone at work because I was very stressed due to frequent wakings in my little 10 month old baby.
This book really helped me calm my inner Deamons and expectations where I thought that I “had to” do this or that. Really helpful in setting some basic guidelines for better sleep, without needing sleep training.

Very reassuring for new parents worried about sleep

I dont think just trying to reframe how exhausted amd broken you feel is an effective strategy to improve your baby's baby's situation. Hardly any practical advice, just 'it's OK to do nothing'. That's not why we bought the book.

Shaming of exhausted parents who need change
