Professional tree geek review

A superb book with something for everyone. I’ll be seeking out more books by Gabriel Hemery. I listened over a couple of long car journeys and found the book perfectly engaging. As a life long tree geek it was fantastic to feel and recognise the familiarity of our natural environment in the stories. Some were rather thought provoking, some quite sentimental and endearing. One in particular made me laugh so loud the dog started barking. Only marked down from five stars as one story was a shade on the political side for my taste. Claudia Bay did a wonderful job narrating, a soothing and calming voice which I believe matches the tone of the book perfectly.
