Its good. Accents are a bit off putting and had to sloe the speed to about 75/80%. (my preference). But i don't blame the dude for talking fast. A mamoth of an undertaking.

Amazing performance albeit lacking audio quality. Contains most, if not all of H.P. Lovecraft’s stories. The stories might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed listening to most of them.

Listening to these stories had taught me one thing, moderation is key to getting through. This titanic work contains the best and rest of Lovecraft. Some stories clearly more interesting than others, and only some coherense between the stories, listening is not like a novel.

The narration is excellent in my opinion, making the blander stories more exciting, and the good stories great, and the great stories epic.

On Lovecraft itself, I can see how he inspired a genre, however I do not fully understand why. An excellent writer with a good imagination some of the stories are monotone and frankly bring little to no excitement. In this 50+ hour listen, I find only about 1 tenth to be truly outstanding work.

The love the narrators have for Lovecraft shines through every word. The readings are beautiful. The stories , if Lovecraft is new to you, are vaguely familiar as Lovecraft has influenced every horror or sci-fi that has come after.
But this edition shines with joy as Andrew and Sean faultlessly read some of the most inventive fiction ever written. Even the scary bits are wonderfully told with love and enthusiasm.
Just the best audio book around! Save the final chapter till last and let it make you smile.
