Great novel. I would recommend it to people who would like to learn about the great wolf Leman Russ and his legion.

The thing that stood out the most is the professional who read the novel. I felt like I was participating into the story.

I loved hearing about Leman Russ; as a 40K player of The Soace Wolves faction, I don’t know much about him besides he’s the Primarch of the Space Wolves. So getting to hear about him and his story that is in twinned with the Lions was an major eye opener for me about. He’s not just a savage (although in combat he is) but he’s a complex personality with a mixture of pride, empathy, knowledge and wrath. It makes for an interesting story and really paints a picture of why the space wolves are the way they are.
