- No ultimatums: no power struggles or resentment

I really liked this audiobook as it wasn't judgemental or patronising and it gave some really good tips for parents or people working with young people. I usually listen to fiction audiobooks so this was a nice change.

A nice, easy read for busy parents

Interesting insight into a mentally healthier culture and way of life. I liked the succinctness. Makes the key lessons more memorable. A simple recipe that fits in with the calmer easier happier parenting philosophy!

Short but interesting

I really liked the concept, which all seemed well supported and researched, but the book often failed to give enough examples in each section to teach you how to incorporate the range of Danish philosophies into your parenting. It also felt at times as if it was written with toddlers in mind, then in another section it was school children or teens. Each section needed lots of examples for different age groups, to teach you how to apply it to real situations, as what might work for a toddler won’t work for a teen. So, I am left feeling sold on the theory, but a bit lost on how to incorporate it into my life… alas, I think I’ll have to look elsewhere for someone to spell it out.

Love the theory, but no idea what to do next…
