I for one thought it very easy going and enjoyed the readers telling the story.

If you’re a Doctor Who fan these stories are a must. Very enjoyable and sometimes funny

Fabulous!!

A range of narrators means you're going to like some more than others. I found a few irritating in so much as the volume of their voice varied considerably. I'd probably blame the sound mixer, but either way it meant constantly wanting to play with the volume.
The stories are quite nice, with a few really fairly good ones. But I can't say I really remember many beyond the one I've just finished. I'll probably listen to it again next Christmas.
Not worth the full price IMHO.

Reasonable, but nothing to set the time vortex alight

A few of the stories are good, and it's a nice idea to hang them all on an Xmas theme, but the premis of telling them through the companions doesn't work as some of the stories don't have a companion and there are some notable companions missing. Bearing in mind how famous The Doctor is, surely it should have been possible to find narrators that actually sound like the Doctors and the companions? Teagan sounded cockney and not Australian, the Christopher Ecclestone doctor wasn't northern at all and the bits that sounded slightly northern were more Yorkshire. In fact none of the Doctors really sounded like 'themselves'. Sophie Aldred was by far the best of the narrators. It should have been so much better, and I expected more from this.

Bit of a wasted opportunity

This was a collection of short stories, one for each Doctor from the First to the Twelfth. Some were better than others, but definitely worth the read.

Entertaining
