Little did this Mindy know she would speak almost everything into existence after finishing this book. The oceans eleven thing? Her own show? come on. If you enjoy the office, Mindy project or ... comedy in general. Pls listen. Only listen when you’re driving if you’re a good multitasker as I legit almost rear-ended someone every morning on the way to work from cracking up and wanting to re-listen to certain parts. Mindy, you’re an international treasure.

What did you like best about this story?

This book was so funny and witty. Mindy is a fabulous narrator with some great stories to share. I cannot wait to listen to her other book. Smart, fierce, down to earth. She is a brilliant writer and so god damn likeable just like Tina's fey and Amy Poehler. Can't recommend enough.

Mindy Kaling narrates her own book perfectly. It's really only through her voice that you can really connect and understand the very personal tales she's telling in this book. Although some of the chapters don't lend themselves amazingly to being narrated (list chapters for example) the production is done brilliantly. I thoroughly enjoyed the stories Mindy told of her youth. They were funny, interesting, inspiring but not told in a way that made you wish she would just shut up. overall, 5 out of 5.
