How times have changed and not for the better. These books and stories illustrate that so well. However history lesson aside the stories are simple, usually very funny, and from a byegone age of innocence and carefree life which I sorely miss. William and the Outlaws and their scrapes and amusing simple pastimes of Indians, spies, ducks and drakes stone throwing, treasure hunting and of course not forgetting jumble the dog and their family members who collectively together never fail to raise my spirits and cheer me up, just cant be beaten anytime. Easy gentle listening and thoroughly recommended.

Perhaps I've listened to too many..but felt the story lines just getting a bit too absurd in this book. Will have a rest from William..and come back refreshed...
