An excellent read that had me tied to my armchair until the book was finished. I look forward to my next Frederick Forsyth novel.

this is my favourite listen. I never get tired of the story line which in my opinion is very cleverly crafted and extremely informative of the events of the time one of the best listen for a long time

I enjoyed the story and could just about bear the American accented narrator until towards the end when he encountered South African surnames. Please narrators, do your research! You are being paid to do a professional job so do it professionally. By the time I had heard Mr Dup plessiss for the second time I was ready to give in. I'm sure it would be easy enough for anyone to find out the correct pronunciation

Good story, shame about the narration

Plot good. A lot of characters introduced with detailed descriptions of each. Sometimes can be a little distracting from main plot. Requires mental gymnastics to understand how they are relevant to the storyline.

Good story which I enjoyed

Not had any Frederick Forsyth before but will get some more.
Excellent story and a history lesson too. Eric Conger made the listening tone fly by and I was kinda sad when the book ended.
Even in the last paragraph there was a surprise.
Loved this book.

Great story telling
