This audiobook is what I call “authentic spoken word” of modern times. When listening, you find that the accent changes from time to time. However, Jamaican patois is so popular among most cultures you will no doubt grasp and understand the meaning.
The content of this audiobook is for anyone who can identify and understand the message. I’m a firm believer in trying to get my own house in order before telling others how to live. So, from a cultural and spiritual aspect, most of the content is aimed at the “black community” in the nicest way possible. There are some biblical inspired poems in the audiobook, put as real as possible in normal everyday language. Humour, I find, is a natural tool I used to engage my audience. Some of the poems were written when things were happening in the world and may not be grasped by some in the same way it will by others.
