Summary

Jack, Mike and Trip were ripped from their loved ones and thrown into a dangerous world they know nothing about, relentlessly pursued by Night Runners, Zombies and terrifying new creatures known only as Whistlers.

Like their own worlds, civilization has collapsed and danger lurks around every corner. The trio can do nothing but march forward and attempt to find some answers - some way to escape from the nightmare. Seeking only to return to their families, they must navigate through the unknown.

Everything seems to be converging Atlantis. Will Jack, Mike and Trip find what they are looking for in the city? Or will they meet an end that none of them were prepared for?

Can't wait for the next

I'll read anything by Mark Tufo. He's the only reason I have Audible.

This book is another example of how good he is. A detonate mist have for Talbot and Trip fans.

first time i have been disappointed

What was most disappointing about Mark Tufo and John O'Brien ’s story?

Let me start by saying I have listened multiple times to all 9 books of the zombie fallout series and loved them all. I listen in the car on my commutes. However with this book, I kept tuning out mentally. I found that that there was lots of instances where huge amounts of detail / narrative were being given to set the scene. When I zoned out, I would then realise after 10 or so minutes that I had not been paying attention and then not care to revisit the bits I had missed. A real shame. Not as funny, not as engaging, nor entertaining as the fallout series. Doubt I will listen to this book again. Sean Runnette does a good job but the book itself lets down what he has to say.

Glitch

Good book, well at least the first 9 chapters. Unfortunately I can't down load the rest or delete book and start again, a great shame. And very frustrating will be asking for my money back,

It is not bad, but not as awesome as it usual is.

Give me more of the story, less detail of how he walked across the room...

Almost Good

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

It was time well spent because I love Mike and Tripp and Sean Runnette is always a great narrator. However, the book was just a bit boring. Jack is not a character that engages the audience or makes you care about what happens to him. I think Mark Tufo could have done this alone or even with BT being transported with Mike and Tripp. That would have made for a more fun and interesting interaction.

Would you recommend A Shrouded World Book 2: Atlantis to your friends? Why or why not?

I would say no; the book is a bit boring and does not have the great banter I've come to expect from his other books and among the various characters.

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

Everything! Next to Ray Porter he is my favorite able to fully convey each character.

Did A Shrouded World Book 2: Atlantis inspire you to do anything?

No

Any additional comments?

Worth it only to keep up with the series; but really a boring effort.

Not my favorite series!

I absolutely love the Fallout and Indian Hill series, but I just can't get into this story because the story isn't really that interesting.

Oh what happened?

As always, Trip is the best! I love his interactions with Talbot. Always hilarious. I loved Sean Runnette's narration.
BUT...other than Trip...boring! It seemed to go on and on and never got anywhere. Jack...no thanks. I'm gonna have a hard time listening to books 3 and 4, which I already bought, if the story doesn't pick up and go somewhere. Sorry to say these things, but being honest.

series is not as good as others

Hard to differentiate 2 main characters by performance. Others characters are easily recognized by speech and inflection.

Disappointed

The first book was good, action, story characters. This book was a bit boring and dragged in. The narration was manatone and I could not tell most times which character was talking. I have listened. To books for years and a narrator can make
or break a book.

Has A Shrouded World Book 2: Atlantis turned you off from other books in this genre?

Nope

What didn’t you like about Sean Runnette’s performance?

Love Sean's performance as always

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Not really, it' s mystery with no answers.

Very slow

I have read all of the books for both authors and I must say that this book was very slow. It seems like this books was simply a setup for book 3. There could have been more action in the story. If you read John O'Briens book they are action packed. This book was very slow .

I love Mark Tufo and Sean Runnette

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would but not before they read zombie fallout, book of riley or indian hill. They were awesome up until the last on on all the books. which seemed rushed and a lot of filler.

Who was your favorite character and why?

there were only three. I liked them all. The book was the same was the other but I just think its taking too long to get to the jelly. lol Kind of like lycan fallout.

What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love his voice. it keeps my attention no matter what im doing working or driving. He is awesome in zombie fallout. everybody has there own voice a lot of books don't you really have to pay attention or you will get lost but not with him.

Did A Shrouded World Book 2: Atlantis inspire you to do anything?

No not a thing!

Any additional comments?

Spoiler::::: Im upset they they are not together anymore! Jacks not that interesting alone. Mike has trip and he's a hoot.
