Summary

Our heroes have gone their separate ways in an effort to save Trip and unify their fight against the Overseers, who have an evil plot to take over not only this world, but all worlds. Mike asks for and receives help, but not in any way he could have prepared for, as Jack finds himself in the uncomfortable position of filling Otter’s shoes. Can Jack and Mike find a way to destroy the evil that has been unwittingly unleashed or will they succumb like every other civilization the enemy has encountered?

Falling out of love

Are used to love everything Mark wrote. Not so much the last two books I’ve listen to. Mostly seem to be sort of tossed together. Lots of gory fighting scenes not much interesting dialogue and slips in the details. Sort of like when you watch a movie and someone is has a skill and then all of a sudden they don’t have a skill. That’s what happened here. The demon calendar had the skill to shrink, and now he doesn’t at the end of the story when they need him to fit into the helicopter he can’t fit in anymore. Did something happen somewhere that I missed? I don’t know ,I just really feel that I’m sort of getting gypped on this series.

As much as I like this series.

As fun as this series is, I feel I waisted a credit.
The the gods I didn't pay listed price.
I have listened to all, 1-5. It appears that the authors a getting tired and are running out of ideas.

Another one out of the park

I love Mark Tufo’s writing, he’s absolutely my favorite author. And I think john O’Brien is growing on me. This series of books is unique and offers so many twists and turns you never know where you are going next. Can’t wait for the next one

Guys, Glory and Heart

My biggest disappoinment is the book ended. I hate that. This series is keeping me engaged, alternately with amusement, chest tightening gasps or thoughts of "what would I do in that situation. Mr's Tufo and O'Brien, you are downright mean to leave us dangling at the end of this one. Now get back to work and finish the next one before I send a pack of nigh runners your way.

Always keeps me Riveted!

Love the Shrouded World series and this one was no exception. The are they going to die moments mixed with the humor are in great balance. I am always left wanting more especially when it ends and I am left waiting in suspense for the next book. Sean Runnette's performance is amazing! Definitely would recommend!

Still the funnest author to listen to.

As usual, Sean Runnette brings the universe to life. Also, makes the jokes hilarious and perfectly timed.

not exactly what i was hoping for

being a huge fan of both authors it is painful for me to not give this book a 5 star review but i just cant help but feel this book was mostly filler i feel the story line advanced very little. that being said the Content was great the back and forth between the characters was entertaining as ever
