Summary

Everything's bigger in Big Sky country, including the hearts of the Montana Men.

After years on the rodeo circuit, Gabe Bowden wants nothing more than land of his own and a woman who will claim his heart for more than one night. When he has the chance to buy the enormous Wolf Ranch spread, he snaps up the incredible deal. Everything is set, until Gabe rescues a woman on the deserted, snowy road leading to the property, and the half-frozen beauty changes everything.

Ella Wolf rushes to her family's abandoned Montana ranch after her twin sister is murdered. She knows she's next - unless she can uncover a secret hidden somewhere at Wolf Ranch. The last thing Ella expects is to be rescued by a rugged rancher with his own agenda. A man who almost makes her forget how dangerous love can be...

As an unlikely partnership sparks into something so much more, and a killer closes in, can Ella and Gabe learn to trust one another before it's too late?

Wonderful Heartfelt Story!

Loved this touching story of a City Girl who loses her twin but true love helps her convict the killer which settles many family mysteries. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good romance.

Cowboy rescue

This will melt your heart with the cowboy rescuing the girl again. Scary but exciting story. Once again narration is great.

Recommended

An excellent start to what looks like a good series. Good characterization and setting. I liked the suspense of the story and how closely the twins united. Did get a bit sappy toward the end tho.

Disagree with reviewer Kent

Pretty good story. Disagree with reviewer Kent. There is no filth, no disgusting language, and the "F" word was hardly used at all. There were very few sex scenes and they were not at all explicit. The narrator was not my favorite, but not too bad.

Could not stop listening

This book had just the right amount of mystery, romance, and suspense. I couldn't stop listening!

Hard pass...

Struggled to finish. Narrator sounds like Moira on Schitt's Creek. Sex scenes are nauseating. The story line had so much potential but every second sentence was a cliche.

Harlequin Romance

If you like Harlequin Romance you will like this book. The narrator voice is very annoying and i had a hard time finishing the book because of her. This is far from a mystery more like a cheesy love story.

Enough already

I have never written a bad review about a book but I just had to with this one. The overall story is good and Coleen Marlo did an okay performance but the book should have really been called "My dead sister" because that's ALL you hear about. It was so bad that I literally found myself ignoring the book once I heard "dead sister" "sister's cold lifeless body" "Sister's dead body" because it was that frequent in nature. It's even interjected into the story randomly and it places where it doesn't make sense, almost like we are being force fed the same material over and over again. The book would have been outstanding had the author put more effort into not using the dead sister as continuous page filler.

Always a favorite

I’ve read and listened to this story multiple times. I always love a bit of mystery with romance. The only thing that bothers me is the male voices. Not the best and They all sound similar. This is always a con when a book is narrated by one person, man or women.
