Summary

When a potential threat against her life forces Eva Daily to seek shelter on another world, she has only one option available to her. She must offer herself to the Interstellar Bride Program. After a deeply humiliating assessment of her suitability, Eva will be assigned a mate and transported to his world to become his bride.

Upon arriving on the desert planet Trion, Eva soon learns that things are quite different than she is used to on Earth. Her assigned mate, the powerful, handsome High Councilor Tark, makes it clear that she will be expected to submit to him completely, and she quickly discovers that disobedience will earn her a painful, embarrassing spanking on her bare bottom. An intimate examination from her new mate leaves Eva blushing crimson, but to her surprise Tark's mastery of her body arouses her beyond anything she could have ever imagined. Soon enough she finds herself naked, bound, and unable to resist the urge to beg for more as his skillful lovemaking brings her to one shattering climax after another. It doesn't take long, however, for Eva to realize that there is much more to Tark than just a dominant brute who will not hesitate to take his misbehaving wife over his knee and redden her bare bottom thoroughly. But just as her passion for him begins to blossom into love, events back on Earth threaten to tear her away from him forever. Can Eva find a way to remain at Tark's side and in his bed, or will she be left with nothing but memories of the man who has claimed both her body and her heart?

No Longer Earthbound!

I don't listen to erotica audios but I thought I would give this one a try and I wasn't disappointed. The story was written exceptionally well. I love the Interstellar Bride program. I thought it was a great idea the author came up with up. I actually wondered what it would be like to go to Trion myself.

Grace kept me immersed from start to finish. I loved the story. The story has great characters, plot and the sex scenes are HOT! If you love erotica then this is a must read. If you like sci-fi it's a must read.

Narrator Kylie Stewart did an okay job. Honestly and lets be honest she actually did a much better job with this audio than others she's done. I would like to make a few suggestions to the narrator though so here goes...

Kylie you need to put more emotion and heart in your telling of any story you do. All narrators, well good ones anyway change their accents and you do not. I mean your male voices sound dull and still feminine but shouldn't . You should also work on languages because you may very well need to one day. I guess you can say I'm a hard critic when it comes to narrators but I hope it helps you to work on your performance when narrating. I do assist authors with narrators and I have done this since 2010 so I'm not trying to beat you up but to help you. Every author that I have referred a narrator to has been happy with asking my help and opinions.

Story better than reality of the book

Pretty much a really annoying story. Its very hard to get past the first scene even. Its like someone took 50 shades and went, hey, I can make it even worse, watch this and wrote this. The narrator was all sorts of creepy for me. I didn't like that. Had to listen to it at 1.5x speed just to get through the book. Truthfully I'm glad its on the romance package or else I'd be asking for my money back. It's that bad.
Only cool thing was the idea of the world she went to. The time shift. That it was months on earth that passed, but only a day on the new planet. That was cool. Other things saved it but really again, only wroth a listen once, not a fan at all really.

Great story to listen to

This one is a "MUST READ" If at all possible, you really, really need to get the Audible version. The book was the best, but the narrator was good too. If you're looking for a hot, exciting and enjoyable Sci-Fi romance then you can't beat this series. Can't wait to listen to them all.

Great story but the he narrator…

I really enjoyed the story. The relationship between the two main characters was interesting and rather moving for a short book.
Unfortunately, the narrator was rather monotonous. Sometimes the male and female characters sounded the same. Only context of the conversation could tell them apart.

Arranged mating was a perfect match!

I really liked the characters, in this book. In this book, potential brides are matched with a perfect match, based on a series of physical and mental tests. The author does a great job convincing the reader/listener that the couple is a perfect match by the way that the two interacted. I really wanted more of their story and was a bit disappointed when I read the summary of the next book and saw that it was about totally different characters.

I really don’t get why more and more authors are writing this short books. Are short books the preference of most readers? If so then I must be wired because I want to spend more time and experience more with the characters of a book.

okay

The narrators did a very good job.
This books starts right off with a sex scene. There isn't as much excitement as I was hoping.
Eva witnessed a crime and then was mate matched and sent off planet to protect her. When the time comes for her to testify then she is to be transported back to Earth.
Tark is the alien that she is matched with. He is the High Chancellor of Trion. The men of Trion use spanking and toys to punish insolent mates.
The book was more about their personal relationship than including what happened on earth. I like adventure included with my hot books so I hope the next book is more exciting

Not Feeling It

I restarted this book 3 times. Just could not get into to it. I am an avid Audio listening and love a good “steamy” book; but, there was just something about this story/narration that turned me off.

Loved this story!

If I could volunteer as tribute to the Interstellar Bride Program I would. The results are fantastic. I wonder if there are any planets with shifters in the placement program. All kidding aside, this book is very good. But straight to the point. The male voice of the female narrator is noticeably different from the male narrator but I still enjoyed the book.
