This series got worse as it went on. Overall I enjoyed the story, but I found myself extremely irritated by Pip for the majority or the story. The narrator is excellent but because of that, she grates when shes on an annoying Pip monologue. This story just went a little too silly and unreal, but at least it was entertaining!

Pip… insufferable

I love this series! However, this book was a bit disappointing… I guessed a big twist pretty early on which made it frustrating for Pip to not see the obvious but Pip just seemed to act a bit out of character. Definitely recommend- just not a fan of the conclusion.

I get that the author is trying to show pip’s deterioration after her experiences but honestly it’s quite boring to hear the same monologue over and over throughout the book. There was barely any plot as the author spent so long being in Pip’s head and not progressing the story. Also, it is quite irritating for our exceptionally clever protagonist to take the entire book to work out who the killer was, when it was blatantly obvious to readers from the beginning of the DT storyline. Just a bit frustrating all round tbh.
