abrupt finish very angsty
Well I did enjoy the tense emotional rollercoaster but it was a lot and very drawn out, same old, same old, I realise this is how life plays out for some but it makes for tedious listening hence not 5 stars.
the narrator is one of our best British voices, very well done, could have captured the West country better, when someone spends their life in Helston Cornwall they do not have a middle English accent! that said she does a very sexy male voice.
4 stars across the board because there was room for improvement a very abrupt finish and I find these serialized books annoying because it should really be a whole book, I'd pay for a good story but this way I feel ripped off and I won't be the only one.

What a read!
I was super excited to read/listen to the newest offering from Jodi, as a huge fan sucked in from the start when I thoroughly fell in love with Mr Jesse Ward in This Man. Let me tell you Mr Becker Hunt does not disappoint! I just got him from the start, his passion shone through for his treasure and his inner circle of trust, onto his connection with Eleanor. I loved Eleanor’s sass and whit it really evolved her character.
I loved the thrilling suspense in this book and what a way to end! So many possibilities and questions for book Two, I hope we don’t have to wait too long.... Thank You Jodi for another escape 😊

Amazing new book!
Wow, only upsetting part is waiting for the next one to come out in November. Move over Jesse Ward, here comes Becker Hunt. This has so many twists and turns, it keeps you guessing all the way through. Also, what a way to end this part. I can hardly wait to see what happens next.
