I loved it, I was a little worried about the m/m love scenes but they were skilfully managed. The story was beautiful and tender as well as painful in dealing with change and loss. I knew that the author is intending to bring the series to a conclusion and used this book to move though the years and bring completeness to sone relationships and characters. Other reviews had said it was hard to read Ilium leaving seven and it was. I am not sure how I will cope when the last book is released

"While I greatly appreciated the deep bond of friendship and eagerly anticipated the introduction of both Illium and Aodhan’s mates, along with their future offspring, I felt really deprived of the aforementioned. It was however enjoyable to hear updates on other characters. However, I was disappointed not to learn whether Jesamy has regained full use of her wings, the fate of Michaela and her child, or what became of Astaad—among others."

This book completely captivated me. We revisited lots of old friends and caught up with them blue and sparkle story was truly heartwarming. I miss them already.

OMG Blue and Sparkle had me crying more than once, as did the insights in the lives of the seven in between. Having been on this journey with them through all the books this one felt light and incredibly sad at the same time. The author seems at her best in de small moments of deep and personal contact between the various characters. But the world she has built in this series remains as captivating as ever.

The first few sentences will break your heart, the last few will fill it with joy. Ady and blue’s love story through time is so beautiful but we also face the beginning of the end of the series which is truly heart wrenching, this should be a forever series that never ends but I am curious as to what Nalini will come up with next.
