There is no more significant comedian than Newman.

Newman's undoubted comic genius is directed at the heart of the well worn staples and canards of the standardised accounts of modern history. His historical acumen and uncompromising grasp of the 'unspeakable truths' of imperialism, geopolitics and the economic causes of war must be savoured by anyone who appreciates an enthralling comedy performance and who can stand to be educated along the way. Nobody, not even Hicks, has ever done this better.
