About this listen

He'll love him in any lifetime.

Neil isn't a ghost, but he feels like one. Reincarnated with all his memories from his prior life, he spent 20 years trapped in a child's body, wanting nothing more than to grow up and reclaim the love of his life.

As an adult, Neil finds there's more than lost time separating them. Joshua has built a beautiful life since Neil's death, and how exactly is Neil supposed to introduce himself? As Joshua's long-dead lover in a new body? Heartbroken and hopeless, Neil takes refuge in his work, developing microscopic robots called nanites that can produce medical miracles.

When Joshua meets a young scientist working on a medical project, his soul senses something his rational mind can't believe. Has Neil truly come back to him after 20 years? And if the impossible is real, can they be together at long last?

Contains mature themes.

This title has been in my wish list for far too long. I was a little reluctant as i was scared of the heat ache- please dont let this put you off as this was definitely a little gem, very out there with some futuristic themes but very much a beautiful tale. The sexy bits are a bonus!

As always mr solo's performance was brilliant 👏.

I want more stories of the side characters... plz miz Blake.

Beautiful chemistry of several love stories ❤️.

I think LETA BLAKE is underrated author, her work has everything you want in a book and not heart breaking that leaves you feeling sad for days. Definitely Worth reading and definitely there is a heartfelt HEA, go for it.

Very unique and beautiful story

The author writes about what she knows: coffee shops and conversations about feelings that reek of therapy talk. Nobody feels realistic or realistically male. Nothing happens for hours. There is no believable overarching plot, no real conflict or stakes. Internal homophobia? Gets resolved instantly. Religious parents? Somehow become instantly accepting. Reincarnation? Instantly accepted by the child's mother. The least realistic thing is a grown man talking about his bad dreams and tearing up on every corner. Sure, ideally, it's good to express one's feelings. But realistically, it rarely happens. it's not a therapist office. Nobody writes better than KJ Charles in this genre, it would seem.

Narrator does all the work

Great story with the idea of across time and makes one wonder if it's possible, you see people in dreams you know you have never seen them before ???

Fascinating

Wow. My heart is so full, but at the same time, ow? Now that I've finished with that beautiful, perfect ending, all is forgiven, but ye gods that hurt. It's an amazing and incentive concept, but the characterisation is what really blew me away with this one. My heart hurt for everyone involved, side characters as well as main, and I was deeply empathetic even as everyone was floundering around and making the wrong decisions. I was so deeply and ridiculously absorbed in this story that I actually ran down my car's battery because I was listening via Bluetooth while parked, and had to call roadside assistance. There's some funny moments in with the sadness and angst, which I very much appreciated, and I adored it even though I kinda hated being put through the emotional wringer. It's high heat, high angst, and industrial levels of emotion, and shows an unbelievable amount of skill and commitment. Extra points for having Neil be an abrasive asshole throughout and still somehow being totally loveable, and extra extra points for the cover. I've read a ton in this genre, and it's vanishingly rare to have guys making out front and centre, but I love the passion of it. Perfectly in keeping with the book. It's a fantastic story and although it's really tough emotionally at times, it's really wonderful too. John Solo does an amazing job on the narration, and I highly recommend the audiobook.
