Summary

An astronaut’s gloved hand lowering a thin wire into a hole cut in ice. We hear the howling alien wind reveal: Michael Thompson (40's) in a full spacesuit, kneeling at a 20 foot hole in the icy surface of Europa, Jupiter’s fourth largest moon.

The planet is white, glass-smooth, desolate. He continues lowering the wire. We don’t really know what he’s doing, and whatever’s attached to the wire can’t be very heavy or this wire would break.
