This was an easy story to follow. Dani is an ER doctor and she has worked extremely hard for her career, foregoing relationships - until James starts as a new ER doctor.
The story wasn't long, it was enjoyable and the pace of of story was good. I did find that sometimes there was far too much mundane detail in the book, but there was lots of conversations so you feel like you get to know the characters fairly well.
Both had relationship history, but for some reason do not feel the need to share the information and it does lead to some unnecessary misunderstanding - considering they were intelligent doctors, I would have thought they'd have communicated better.
The narration was good, easy to listen to and understand - I would listen them them again.
