I bought this having studied criminology and in particular, serial killers.

The fact I’d never heard of Israel Keyes almost terrifies me and the light this book shines on institutional cover ups is equally disturbing.

Fantastically put together, the only downside for me was the narration, which sounds a bit robotic, but I’m likely just nitpicking.

A thrilling book about a quite unknown serial killer that is playing with law enforcement and FBI both before and after his capture. Nicely read and easy to follow. Def recommend this book!

I devoured this book. I already knew about Israel Keyes but this book gives many more insights into the mind, motives and motes operandi of this genuinely terrifying psychopath. Masterfully written, meticulously researched and told with great pace, reverence and respect and empathy for the victims and their families. Cannot recommend this book enough!

An absolute must for any true crime fan!

I know it’s mentioned often in the reviews but it’s hard not to be irritated by this narration, I started to dread the “male voice” because the cringe was off the charts. It’s a shame because the content is interesting, although it didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know about this case. In all honesty, there’s better, more insightful podcasts about this case. Keyes is without doubt one of the most terrifying serial killers of modern times.
