Summary

Penguin presents the unabridged downloadable audiobook edition of All Our Wrong Todays, written and read by Elan Mastai.

So, the thing is, I come from the world we were supposed to have. That means nothing to you, obviously, because you live here, in the crappy world we do have. But it never should've turned out like this. And it's all my fault - well, me and, to a lesser extent, my father. And, yeah, I guess a little bit Penelope. In both worlds she's the love of my life. But only a single version of her can exist. I have one impossible chance to fix history's greatest mistake and save this broken world. Except it means saving one Penelope and losing the other forever - and I have absolutely no idea which to choose....

Critic reviews

"A thrilling tale of time travel and alternate timelines with a refreshingly optimistic view of humanity's future." (Andy Weir, author of international best seller The Martian)
"A novel about time travel has no right to be this engaging. A novel this engaging has no right to be this smart. And a novel this smart has no right to be this funny. Or insightful. Or immersive. Basically, this novel has no right to exist." (Jonathan Tropper, New York Times best-selling author of This Is Where I Leave You and One Last Thing Before I Go)

Loved!

I loved this book! I wish I could read it again without having already heard it. And I love that the author has read it. His voice is perfect for it. A time travel book that talks of science but also of human emotion. It was wonderful.

Wonderful story and storyteller

Listen to this book - you won’t regret it. Unless you don’t like funny, original, clever, well read books. Then you’ll hate it.

Good. Not great.

Enjoyed it well enough. Engaging and clever. Worth listening to, but not a classic. Not sure I can quantify why, just not as compulsive as some other books

brilliant

This kept me intrigued all the way through. Great story, really interesting concepts, and sort observations on life, love, science, and the universe.

it took way too much will power to get to the end

I love time travel novels but wow this guy loved explaining the needless. the idea was good but the delivery and overall story was slow and boring. I wanted to him it but I am made of stronger things

A refreshing sci fi with depth and soul

Right... we all make stupid mistakes, often spurred on by a burst of strong emotion or a feeling of injustice, perhaps as a result neglecting to think something through. If only I had a time machine, I could go back and fix it, couldn't I? Wouldn't I? Beautifully read by the author. Set in contemporary times and grounded with cultural references. What I really enjoyed about this book was that it is as much about the plot as it is about life philosophy and the inner lives and relationships of the characters. I loved the open discussions and dynamics. I think that the mark of a good book is that you can keep coming back to it - that it has enough depth so that it is good for more than one read or (listen) through - and I see myself coming back to this one many times over. The characters are engaging and the literary style is interesting, helping to draw you into the story and fire up the imagination. I found the central concept fascinating and topical. One of my favourite listens so far.

Hang on in there with the physics!!

Great story with some clever twists. Some of the scientific descriptions can be hard to follow but focus on the narrative outcomes. Enjoyed the Canadian accent too!

I am saddenend

I am saddened because this is the best audible book I have ever listened to an I have come to the end of it. I was gripped from the first chapter to the last. emotionally engrossing and perfectly narrated this can only be described as the pinnacle of my audible book experience. any one who considers this book will be well advised to go for it wholeheartedly. OUTSTANDING.
