Summary

Joining us in the Audible Studios is Welsh actor Alexander Vlahos. In this interview, Alexander tells us what he likes about narrating and what it’s like to be an actor.

Vlahos narrates H. G. Wells’ The First Men in the Moon, a scientific romance novel first published in 1901. Following protagonists Mr Bedford and Dr Cavor, listeners indulge in their journey to the moon, where they come across the sophisticated insectlike creatures ‘Selenites’. This forms part of Audible’s H. G. Wells: The Science Fiction collection, a bundle of H. G. Wells’ five science-fiction novels, each performed by a celebrity narrator.

A talented and humble actor

A very interesting listen, I just wish it had been longer because I could listen to Alex's beautiful and expressive voice all day long. It's fascinating to hear him talking so humbly about his talent, when in my opinion he is definitely up there with the acting greats he mentions in the interview. I will buy any release featuring Alex, and thank you Audible for this glimpse behind the scenes. It is well worth 20 minutes of your time.

VlaVla time

Saw this lovely man in Versailles, then found him as Mordred in the Arthurian series, both of which are excellent. Lovely voice, lovely man, whom I've met. His voice is velvet, very easy to listen to, have just rated ALL Dorian Gray at 5 stars, all excellent and worth the listen. A young man who's career I will be watching.
