The Fae war is coming, and I'm caught right in the middle. My father, the ruthless Unseelie king, is dead. It should have been our moment of triumph. Instead, we find ourselves hiding in London from our ancient enemies, the Seelie. From Roan’s city mansion, we need to unite the six Unseelie courts to fight back. Good wrap up to this story.
I am pleased that it all worked out in the end.
Though the fmc's constant worrying in books 2 &3 were annoying, she finally sorted that out in this book.
I initially read this because it was fbi & I thought the story line was going to be more about that, but it obviously wasn't. But I did enjoy the outcome, just wasn't what I was expecting.
The narrator was a bit up and down. I have listened to other books she has narrated and it wasn't noticeable- but in this one the characters accents changed and was a bit weird in places.
For example in book 1, Roan seemed to be Scottish and wasn't going forward! 😅
But all in all, I enjoyed the story and love a HEA.
