This book is so different from what I thought it would be and I am just so glad that it is the start of a series. I am looking forward to the rest of the books. I am sure they will be fabulous!

What a fantastic beginning to the series! Kathryn Shay is unapologetically real about the challenges that firemen and women face in their personal and professional lives. Yes this is a romance but it is also gritty, relatable and human. Ms Shay made it so easy to commit to these characters and to the series.

Jeffrey Kafer is a fantastic narrator. He has a deep voice that completely draws you into the book. Actually, it is quite delicious!
