ADHD can be so frustrating and complex. This book does an excellent job of breaking down the myths and truths in an easy to understand way.

Standing against the stigmas and the section on artificial flavors and sugar really captured my attention.

I recommend this book.

The book provides practical tips for managing academic expectations, fostering positive relationships with peers and family members, and promoting positive habits and self-esteem. It's comprehensive and engaging, giving insight into ADHD myths and facts, the different types of ADHD, how to cope with overwhelming feelings and build impulse control, and the range of treatment options. For me, one of the most valuable topics covered was how to support the overall well-being of adolescents with ADHD, as this discussion was filled with excellent strategies, tools, and tips for managing stress and building resilience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this audiobook to parents and caregivers of teens with ADHD.

This is a great resource for anybody because I think it is important that everyone has a great understanding of ADHD, What makes this audiobook so good in my opinion is how every single complex topic is explained in such simple terms. After listening, I am now aware of the typical behaviors of people with ADHD, what are the common triggers that set them off, how to diffuse bad reactions and what it takes to be a great carer for somebody with ADHD.

Understandable Reading from a great author on interpretation of the ADHD cide. The complete overwhelming load of information on ADHD causes extreme confusion on how to address many aspects of it and leads towards more complex problems. This author simplified and demystified it with a simple look and approach. Although she dud not include brain training, which I as a brain trainer would have liked, she did examine treatments and interventions outside medication also.
