Really enjoyed this one, cracking pace, great idea and despite the author having done other time travel stories, this stands apart. As someone else said, stick with it (you'll find out..) as it's definitely worth it.

First of all I did read some of the negative comments and I get them.
I did like the Extracted series, ending aside, but it has been some time since I finished it.
I think this has enough original ideas to be worth reading it and it did make me laugh hard at moments.
It did come out 2 years after the 3'rd Extracted so maybe it is a continuation?
Anyway, I like it.
And it it the first in a new series so need to see what comes next.

I really enjoyed this story and Carl's narration is superb. This is kind of what I had hoped a spin-off of the Extracted series would be like, so I'm hooked!

What a fantastic journey! Excellent details in the fighting scenes and then heart wrenching details in the death scenes. Fantastic British humour! Superbly read, all the accents, quite brilliant.
