Brilliantly narrated, the story is shocking on so many levels. Twists and turns that had me literally calling out my reactions!

I enjoyed this audiobook, i didn’t give it 5 stars as the story was somewhat unbelievable, I think you can see it was a first novel. The characters are interesting if a bit one dimensional, the pacing of the story is good, and you are sure of the ending til the last chapter.

I find the story not entirely convincing. However, it touched on lots of societal (and dare I say political) issues worth thinking about. Performance is superb. So many voices in wonderful Southern accents.
