There is hardly a story here, only a good sample of narrators voice. I managed to finish this only because Kobna Holdbrook-Smith's reading. Free sample from audible.

A potentially intriguing storyline rather spoiled by its brevity. Its big advantage is that the bare bones of the plot are laid bare in very short order but the themes introduced need developing more deeply and expansively. Leaves much to be pondered.

What else is hiding in the stacks of The British Library? Even more worrying what is lurking in the storerooms of the British Museum? Anybody who has seen the exhibits from The Great Death of Ur will know exactly what I mean. The Folly is just round the corner too.
