Good story. I enjoyed the book.

If you like a time travel romance then you will love this. Tones of Outlander, but cleaner and suitable for a more junior audience. Although there is no explicit sex this does not stop the story being a highly charged adventurous romantic listen.

Miracal love story.

The main characters relationship develops nicely. Fraser initially has no liking for the mysterious and strange Cathy who has arrived in his life. He is still too worried and concerned for his brother who he was forced to leave near the Culloden battlefield. Over the weeks that follow though Cathy finds a place in his heart and Fraser finds he does not want to let to her go.

Like this Story.

Cathy is given a ring belonging to her grandmother and this has magical connections it seems to it's original owner. When she goes on a trip to Scotland she takes the ring with her and it seems to determined be reunited with its original owner. When the ring finally ends up back on Fraser's hand Cathy finds herself stuck in 1746 with the often quite difficult Fraser.

Awesome.

I love a time travel tale and this one is up to scratch. The story starts off in America with the injured Cathy taking some time off with a recuperative trip to Scotland. An old heirloom however has different ideas and propels her backward in time and into the arms of Fraser, a weary Highlander who wants little to do with this strange woman to start with.

Romantic Real Love Story.

Thoroughly enjoyable tale of old Scotland and Bonnie Prince Charlie all tied up with two star crossed lovers. Cathy is caught in a time trap and propelled back to the 1700's by a ring which is trying to find its owner. The story is romantic and enjoyable.

amazing story

Definitely shades of Outlander and why not! Who doesn't want to time travel back to Scotland and find the love of their lives? Cathy through a quirk of fate and a family heirloom that has been passes down for over three hundred years finds herself connected to the past, and in particular to one particular man - Fraser McGregor. Battle weary he has little time in his life for this woman who has suddenly appears who it also seems it trying to keep news of his brother from him. An entertaining and romantic story.

Time travel and Scotland. In the Outlander genre but with enough original story material to make it an entertaining listen. I will be looking out for more in the series.

Fantastic.

Cathy is an excellent heroine, tough, resourceful and determined to get back to her own time. She realises early on that her only connection to the future lies with Fraser and the ring he has taken from her. The story follows her quest to try and take possession of the ring again and hope that it will take her back home to her family. When she finally gets the opportunity will she really want to leave the man she has become so close to?

Superb Story!!!

A time travel highland romance which certainly delivers. I really felt for Cathy when she found herself in Scotland with a phone that wouldn't work totally confused at what was happening around her. Fraser is a man of his times, fresh from the battle field, with rough edges and heart full of loss, as the story progresses the romance unfolds.

Highly recommend.

A proper escapism listen. Nothing too serious, a time travel romance with all the right ingredients. I love Scotland and this really captured and brought back memories of the Highlands from a holiday we had there last year. Lovely romantic story with an unusual twist towards the end. Highly recommended.

Amazing Love Story.

This is an easy story to get into and to keep listening to. You want to know what is going to happen, not only to the two lovers, but also to Scotland which has been torn apart after the last Jocobite battle at Culloden.

Lovely Story.

If you like a romance and a will they won't they kind of story then this will suit you well. The story has a wonderful ending which I shall not spoil and the tale of love over the distance of time is quite touching. Fraser finds the woman he needs to heal his heart and Cathy finds a new love that will last for the rest of her life.

I enjoyed listening .

I enjoyed listening to this tale set in the Scottish Highlands. I like anything historical, and there was enough well researched background to keep me happy as I listened to the story unfold. I even found myself finding out a few facts I wasn't aware of.

Good story.

Outlander made this type of book big, but it did leave us wanting more tales of Highlanders and Highland Romances. This story is well done, plausible and the main characters likeable and easy to identify with. We all want to be Cathy, transported into the arms of battle scarred Highlander - well I know I do! Good story.
